ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The AMC Committees will solicit oral and e-Poster submissions from 1 December 2021 until 15 May 2022. Both oral and e-Poster presentations will be reviewed by the scientific committees for acceptance in the program relevant to following themes;
• Mycology in Asia
• Fungal Genomics
• Biotechnology and Other Applications of Fungi
• Medicinal and Edible Mushrooms
• Pathogenic Fungi (Human, Plants and Animals)
• Fungal Taxonomy and Systematic
Since we will NOT be editing abstracts for participants, so please remember to fully edit and carefully proof your content before submitting. Abstracts must be in final form with no grammatical, typographical, or factual errors.
The number of acceptances for oral presentations will be limited, please submit EARLY in order to fit into the meeting program and meeting space availability. However, there is NO limit to the number of e-Poster submissions. A single registration can ONLY cover “ONE” oral presentation or “ONE” e-Poster presentation.
Specifying a preference between oral or e-Poster does NOT guarantee placement in that area. Final presentation type will be determined by the scientific committees.
All submissions will be reviewed for acceptance as they come in with notifications of acceptance being e-mailed to the presenter (as designated on the abstract submission form). Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to the presenters by 30 May 2022 as well as posted on the AMC website.
Every presenter of the oral or e-Poster abstract must make the payment by 20 June 2022 otherwise the abstract will be withdrawn.

Submission guidelines
These instructions are provided to help authors prepare ABSTRACT for submission to AMC2021. All submitted papers will be in a process of peer review and all accepted papers for either oral or e-Poster presentation will be distributed to the participants on the conference website. 1. Authors’ responsibilities
1.1 All submitted ABSTRACT must be in good, grammatically correct English. Authors are fully responsible for the correction of language.
1.2 Major corrections cannot be undertaken by AMC committees, and no proofs are provided.
2. Submission of abstract
2.1 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION will open on 1 December 2021. Authors must acknowledge that at least one author of accepted ABSTRACT has to register with AMC and remit the registration fee. Single registration can cover one abstract.
2.2 ABSTRACT should be provided in electronic form and uploaded to our online submission website. However, the abstract submission system is not supported both on mobile phones and tablets, please submit your abstract through desktop computers or laptops only. The format should be complied with the following basic instructions. To avoid any mistake, the TEMPLATE OF ABSTRACT is suggested.
2.3 File formats: You are required to provide us the preferred format for electronic versions both Microsoft Word and PDF, though we can accept most other word-processing packages in PC or Macintosh formats.
2.4 File naming: When naming files, it is recommended that you incorporate the name of the first author or the paper’s reference numbers into the filename. Please do not use generic names such as “AMC paper” or similar easily confused variants.
3. Abstract format
3.1 Page size:
The page size MUST be set to A4 on “Page Setup” of your Word screen for example. This template places all material in a rectangle of 21 cm x 29.7 cm (8.27″x11.69″), beginning 1.25 cm (0.49″) and heading 1.25 cm (0.49″) from the top and the footer of the page. The page must be formatted using 2.54 (1.0″) margins.
3.2 Font type and text size:
• Font type: Ebrima
• Title:
– 13pt. bold and align left
– Use a capital letter at the first word only except the specific name.
• Authors’ name: 10pt. regular and align left, with the name of presenting author bold and underlined.
• Address: 9pt. regular and align left.
• Text and keywords: 10pt. justified.
3.3 Abstract length:
The maximum acceptable length of ABSTRACT is up to 1 page of A4.
3.4 Keyword:
3 – 6 keywords (in alphabetical order) which will enable a subsequent information retrieval system to locate the paper.
4. Nomenclature and units
4.1 Please take care that all terminology and notation used will be widely understood. Abbreviations and acronyms should be spelled out in full at their first occurrence in the text.
4.2 SI units are strongly recommended.
Deadline for PRE-RECORD VIDEO submission: 15 July 2022
1. All online oral presenters are required to

– Stand by for LIVE CHAT Q&A. (Answer questions by typing in chat box/Q&A box during presentation and answer by oral at the end of presentation.)
2. Recording Tips
2.1 There are two recording software available at no cost.
– ZOOM application (guideline)
– MICROSOFT POWER POINT (guideline)

Format: Microsoft PowerPoint (16:9 aspect ratio/widescreen)
2.2 Choose a quiet spot to do your recording and have soft lighting coming from behind the camera.
2.3 Have your presentation ready so that you can easily find it when sharing your screen.
2.4 Please note that the content of the video will not be edited by the Technical Secretariat.
2.5 We recommend using a timer to control your presentation time. (Please follow up your final time slot on conference website https://www.amc-2021.org/program1/ since 1 July 2022 onwards)
Deadline for E-poster Submission: 20 July 2022
The poster will be e-Poster and posted on the online platform only. There will be no printing ones to be mounted in the event.
There are 2 types of E-Poster presentations:
1. E-Poster without a voice recording presentation – The posters will be electronically uploaded and will be available for viewing in the E-poster stations. There is no designated time for a presentation.
2. E-Poster including a voice recording presentation –The posters will be electronically uploaded, along with a voice recording presentation, and will be available for viewing in the E-poster stations. There is no designated time for the presentation.
The files format should be complied with the following basic instructions.
– Portrait Format, Single-Page
– It must contain the title, authors’ name and address, objectives, materials and methods, summary, results, and conclusion in the form of figures, graphs, tables, etc.
